Here is another shot my mom had transferred from slide to photo. Pretty awesome, huh? Just newborn me chillin' with my dad.

Christmas 1976

Here are a couple more slides my mom had turned into pictures. I played around with them as much as I could on the computer to restore them (they were far worse before). They are still cool pictures to me. The three by the Christmas tree are my sister Amanda, my cousin Christina, and me in the middle. These pictures were taken in Minnesota at my Aunt Eva and Uncle Ozzie's house. I remember having to sit upstairs in a room (storage room?) for what seemed like forever waiting for the adults to get Christmas presents set up downstairs (or whatever the heck they were doing). The other two pictures are my dad holding and playing with my sister, and me wandering in and out of the shot. These two pictures were taken in Wisconsin at Grammy and Gramps' house.

OKC Art Museum

Here are a couple architecture pictures I took the other day at the OKC Art Museum. I hope to get back down there soon and try some more shots from different angles.

Statues in Jinghong

This beautful statue was in a courtyard area of our awesome hotel in Jinghong. These pictures were taken right around sunrise early one morning. It was beautiful and peaceful to walk around and explore Jinghong before the city woke up.

Governor's Mansion

While we were in Sacramento, Jana and I did quite a bit of walking around the downtown area. While at one historic site, it was recommended to us by an employee of wherever it was we were at that we go check out the Governor's Mansion Museum, last occupied by Ronald Reagan. It was quite a ways away, but it sounded cool, so we set off. We were so excited to walk forever and finally make it there and discover that the place was under renovation and covered in sheets. Isn't it just the most beautiful Governor's Mansion you ever saw? It was REALLY worth going to see. I would have gone back to thank that guy for his awesome tip, but we were ready to head back to the hotel.

OSU Homecoming

Last Friday night we traveled to Stillwater for homecoming activities. The weather was perfect and we had a really fun time.

Kinda gross ladybugs

We were hiking through Muir Woods when we came upon what seemed like a million ladybugs. It was amazing how densely packed they were on tree branches and fence line. It was kind of cool, but at the same time kind of gross looking.

Eva Air

I was sitting on a plane at LAX just getting ready to take off when I looked out my window and saw an Eva Air airplane. I have an aunt Eva so I had to snap a quick shot of the plane.

Thunder

Here is a picture I got with former OSU Cowboy great and current member of the OKC Thunder, John Lucas. He was an awesome player for the Cowboys and I hope he does great with the Thunder, he was really cool in person.

OKC THUNDER

So the very next morning Josh and I run into Desmond Mason and Chris Wilcox at the Hyatt. They were both kind enough to take a picture with each of us.

THUNDER!!!

So we arrive at our hotel in Sacramento for Youth Specialties and are told to hurry up and move our vehicle because an NBA team's chartered bus is getting ready to pull up. Our interest and curiosity are pretty high as we wait to see what team it's going to be. I wait in line for quite awhile inside, waiting to get checked in. The lady at the counter is almost done with me, and I've forgotten that some NBA team is showing up when I look to my left, and there is Kevin Durant of the OKC Thunder standing right beside me! What are the odds of the Thunder rolling into Sacramento at the same time as us, AND they happen to be staying at the same place??? It was a really cool experience, and Kevin Durant was kind enough to take a picture with us. Josh had his camera out and ready and Bonny got the shot for us. Sweet!!!

Wow......

So........I was randomly driving around the greater OKC area recently looking for something interesting to take pictures of. These two pictures were taken from the car while driving at a good rate of speed, and it took a couple of passes to get them. I would have preferred to stop and taken better pictures, but I was afraid someone might role out of the trailer with a shotgun. Don't forget to stand up for your "First Amendmend" rights!
